Where this starts

A telehealth launch with the details worked through.

Starting a telehealth service brings plenty of decisions into focus. How will patients find you? What happens after they enquire? Which systems will your team use? And what needs to be ready before you apply for certification or start advertising?

Star Digital AI Marketing helps Australian founders and healthcare teams bring those decisions into one practical project. We plan and build the digital side of your service, from the brand and website to bookings, business workflows, LegitScript application assistance and ongoing marketing.

Your clinical team and professional advisers guide the care you provide. We help turn the agreed model into a website and connected patient journey your team can operate.

A patient may discover your clinic through search, read a service page, complete an enquiry and book a consultation. Behind that simple journey sit several systems and people who need the right information at the right time.

We start by mapping that journey with you. We identify what your website needs to explain, which information belongs in the clinical system, when your team should receive a task and how you will know whether the process is working.

This planning gives the build a clear purpose. It also helps you compare software, recognise dependencies and decide what belongs in the first release.

Who we help

Founders, clinicians and clinics adding telehealth.

Our telehealth startup support is designed for founders preparing a new Australian service, clinicians establishing a private online practice and existing healthcare businesses adding a telehealth offering.

You may already have a clinical team and preferred software. You may have a brand and website that need to work together more effectively. Or you may be at the planning stage, deciding how the digital side should operate.

Tell us what is already in place. We will scope the work around your starting point, intended services and available resources. Where a project needs a separate legal, clinical or technical specialist, we identify that responsibility in the plan.

What is included

What our telehealth startup service can include.

Business and patient journey planning

We help define your audience, service structure and digital launch priorities. Together, we map the steps from first enquiry to booking, consultation and follow up, including who is responsible at each stage.

The output is a practical delivery plan with the agreed features, responsibilities and dependencies. Your clinical lead approves the care pathway and any clinical decision points.

Branding and telehealth website development

Your website needs to make the service easy to understand. Visitors should be able to find who provides the care, how consultations work, what the service costs and what happens next.

We can develop your brand identity, page structure, website design and content. The build focuses on mobile usability, accessible navigation and a clear route to an appropriate enquiry or booking. Service descriptions and clinical statements go through the agreed review process before publication.

Our website design and development work can cover a new site or improvements to an existing one, depending on what your business needs.

Bookings and intake

We help configure the digital steps around your approved patient pathway. This may include appointment booking, intake forms, identity checks, consent recording, reminders and instructions for joining a consultation.

The aim is to make the next step clear for patients and useful for staff. We also plan for ordinary exceptions, such as an incomplete form, a changed appointment or someone needing help with the booking process.

Connected systems and automation

Your booking platform, practice management software, payment provider and business CRM each have a role. We help you decide what information needs to move between them and what should remain in a clinical record.

Where supported by the selected systems, we can connect administrative workflows, assign tasks and automate approved notifications. Integration scope depends on supplier access, available functionality and testing. We confirm those details before promising a connection.

Our marketing and sales automation service can support enquiry handling and staff workflows, with access and data handling agreed for the project.

LegitScript application assistance

If your service needs LegitScript certification, we can help organise the preparation. That may include checking the website against the application requirements, creating a document checklist, gathering evidence from your team and coordinating requested updates.

You retain ownership of the application and the accuracy of the information supplied. LegitScript makes the certification decision. Our role is to help you prepare and respond; approval and assessment times cannot be guaranteed.

SEO and AI search visibility

Search planning starts with the questions your intended patients ask and the services you can appropriately provide. We structure pages around useful answers, clear navigation and a sound technical foundation.

Our SEO services can include keyword research, service content, internal links, structured data and performance reviews. We can also assess how your business is represented in selected AI search experiences and use the findings to improve clarity and coverage.

Rankings and AI mentions vary. We explain what is being measured and what the evidence supports.

Advertising and conversion improvement

When the relevant requirements are met, we can plan and manage campaigns around the services you are permitted to advertise. The website, advert and enquiry process should give people a consistent understanding of the service.

Our Google Ads management work can sit alongside SEO and ongoing conversion improvements. Reporting helps you see which activity generates suitable enquiries and where people are leaving the process.

Why one team

Most of the pain in a launch is in the joins.

Spread across suppliers

  • A website from one supplier, bookings from another, ads from a third.
  • Nobody owns the joins between them, so the gaps surface after launch.
  • Application questions bounce back to you to chase.
  • The patient journey gets tested by patients.

With Star Digital AI Marketing

  • Website, bookings, systems and marketing scoped as one project.
  • One delivery plan, with the dependencies and owners written down.
  • Application preparation coordinated alongside the build.
  • The journey tested with test records before you open.

One scope and one quote, agreed before any work starts. Certification, professional advice, software subscriptions and ad spend are shown separately.

Case study

The clinic we took through LegitScript certification.

His Medical Clinic

An Australian men’s health telehealth service.

  • CertifiedLegitScript approval, displayed on the clinic's own site.
  • 90% to 95%Semrush Site Health across the September 2026 technical pass.
  • One teamSite, systems, content, SEO and paid campaigns under one plan.

The brief

A telehealth service that had to work end to end: somewhere for patients to land, a way for them to start, the systems behind it, and a way to be found. Not four suppliers each holding one piece of it.

What we delivered

Service pages and the patient journey from first click to first appointment, with the systems behind it connected so enquiries, bookings and records move without double handling.

Then the demand side: a clinical content programme across their conditions, an internal linking structure, a full technical SEO pass, sender authentication for their email, and live campaigns on Google, Microsoft and Meta.

The outcome

The clinic holds LegitScript certification, which is the gate for advertising a telemedicine service to Australian patients on Google. We prepared and coordinated that application alongside the rest of the work rather than leaving it to the end. See the clinic.

LegitScript alone decides certification. We assist with preparation and cannot guarantee approval, platform acceptance or an opening date.

How the project works

From first conversation to a service you can operate.

  1. 01

    First we define the launch

We discuss your proposed service, intended audience, existing suppliers and business priorities. We identify the digital work, specialist inputs and decisions that need to be resolved before the build can progress.

You receive a defined scope and milestone plan, with a clear distinction between SDAIM’s delivery fee and outside costs.

  2. 02

    Then we build and connect

We create the agreed website and content, configure the booking and administrative workflows and coordinate the required reviews. Application preparation can run alongside the build where the available information allows.

Your team can review the work as it develops. Changes to the service model or integration requirements are assessed against the scope so the effect on cost and timing is visible.

  3. 03

We test the journey before launch

We use test records to check the agreed workflow, including forms, notifications, bookings and payments. We confirm that the right person receives the right task and that staff know what to do when a process needs attention.

The handover covers access, responsibilities and the agreed operating instructions. Clinical readiness and professional approvals sit with your clinic leadership and advisers.

  4. 04

We help you build visibility after launch

An ongoing plan can cover content, search visibility, advertising and improvements to the enquiry journey. We agree what will be measured and review the results against your business priorities.

Certification

LegitScript support with a clear scope.

We have done this before. We took His Medical Clinic, an Australian telehealth clinic owned by Shane Rice, through to LegitScript approval, and its certification is displayed on its own site.

LegitScript certification, advertising platform approval and the clinic’s legal and clinical obligations are separate matters. A certificate does not remove the need to meet advertising rules or operate an appropriate healthcare service.

For telemedicine advertisers targeting Australia, Google’s published policy requires LegitScript verification and Google healthcare certification. We check the applicable requirements for your proposed campaign before activation.

Our application support can help your team keep track of the information, website changes and responses required. Certification fees and any external professional advice are quoted separately from SDAIM’s work unless expressly included.

We provide independent application assistance. We do not issue LegitScript certification or represent ourselves as the certification authority.

Advertising rules

What you can and cannot say, settled before it is written.

Advertising a regulated health service in Australia sits under section 133 of the National Law, the advertising guidelines AHPRA issues alongside it, and the TGA’s rules for advertising therapeutic goods. Between them they govern testimonials, before and after images, claims that one provider or treatment is better than another, and how a prescription medicine may be referred to in public. The same limits apply to your website, your ads and your social posts.

We write and build to those rules from the start. Page copy, ad text, creative and landing pages are checked against them before anything goes live, so you hear what cannot be said while it is still a draft rather than after a complaint.

Where a question needs a lawyer or a clinical judgement, we say so and stop there. We are not a regulator and we do not give legal advice, and your registered practitioners remain responsible for meeting their own advertising obligations.

Responsibilities

Plan the responsibilities as carefully as the website.

We build the digital and marketing work around your agreed clinical model. Your practitioners remain responsible for clinical decisions, and the appropriate professionals advise on legal structure, privacy, contracts, insurance and registrations.

We can coordinate their input into the project so approved requirements are reflected in the website and workflows. This is particularly useful when several suppliers need to contribute before a service can open.

The result is a clearer view of who needs to do what, which reviews are outstanding and what is ready for use.

Cost

What affects the cost of setting up a telehealth business.

The cost depends on your starting point and the service you want to build. A clinician extending an existing practice may need a different setup from a founder creating a new brand with several services and connected systems.

The main digital cost drivers include website size, content requirements, the number of systems involved, custom development, data migration, application support and ongoing marketing. Clinical services, professional advice, software subscriptions and advertising spend also need their own allowance.

We scope the work before quoting. You can see what is included, which fees sit outside the project and which features could be introduced later. If you already have useful systems or assets, we assess how they can fit.

Why us

Why work with Star Digital AI Marketing.

We bring website development, search, paid media and automation into the same project. That means your launch plan can consider how the site will be found, how enquiries will be handled and what your team will need to measure afterwards.

We explain the work in practical terms. You should know what is being delivered, what depends on another provider and who will own the accounts and assets when the project is complete.

Our Melbourne based team supports Australian businesses. We review service fit and capacity before accepting a project, so we only take on work we can deliver properly.

Questions

Questions about starting a telehealth business.

Can you help if I am still at the idea stage?

Yes. We can start by mapping the digital requirements and questions you need to resolve. This gives you a basis for discussing the service with your clinical team and advisers before committing to a website or software build.

Do you supply the doctors or operate the clinic?

Our service covers the agreed digital setup, coordination and marketing work. Clinical staffing and governance must be arranged by the clinic or a separately appointed provider. We establish those responsibilities at the planning stage.

Do all telehealth businesses need LegitScript?

The answer depends on the services, payment arrangements and advertising platforms involved. We review the relevant requirements for your model. Certification is not a universal licence to practise or a substitute for professional and legal obligations.

Can you guarantee certification or advertising approval?

No. LegitScript and advertising platforms assess applications and content under their own rules. We can help with preparation, website changes and responses, but the decisions remain with those organisations.

Can you work with our existing software?

We can assess your current setup and recommend what can be retained. Any integration needs to be checked against supplier permissions, available interfaces, data requirements and the intended workflow before it is confirmed in scope.

How long does a telehealth startup project take?

Timing depends on the scope, content, supplier access, integration work and external reviews. We provide a milestone plan after discovery and update it when dependencies change. Certification or professional approvals may affect the opening date.

Can you market the business after launch?

Yes. Ongoing support can include SEO, content, AI visibility reviews, eligible paid advertising and conversion improvements. We agree a separate scope and budget based on the service, available capacity and growth priorities.

What do you need from us to get started?

Bring a summary of your proposed services, intended audience, existing team, preferred launch window and any software or website already in place. An early conversation can identify which decisions need attention first.
